2012 is closing in, and the countdown to the Cloud Computing World Forum is on (34 weeks, to be precise).

That`s why we`re pleased to announce that this week, we confirmed Amazon`s enigmatic CTO, Werner Vogels, as a keynote speaker for the show, held at Earls Court, London on the 12th and 13th June.

Widely regarded as the man responsible for the evolution of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and the company`s shift from online retail store to global tech platform, Werner has overseen AWS`s growth as CTO since 2005, winning countless awards for his achievements.

With the Amazon cloud and its integration with the company`s new tablet, Kindle Fire, a source of much recent debate, Werner`s keynote promises to offer an intriguing insight into how one of the world`s biggest IT infrastructures operates.
