Opportunity:
The global IT security market is anticipated to grow 15.5% year on year until 2012. The shooting rate of Internet adoption across the world and rising threats on Internet, such as malware, spam and hack attacks are bolstering the demand for IT security solutions. Moreover, IT security attacks are becoming increasingly sophisticated, requiring continuous monitoring and updating the existing IT security solutions.

Role:
As Business Development Executive your objective is to increase brand awareness throughout the Public Sector to include Police/Blue Light, NHS, Leaning/Education and local government, and open up new opportunities. Your role will be to develop new business sales with 100% channel fulfilment - developing relevant vertical partnerships to assist in opportunity creation. Working with partners to get business going but also understanding the importance of identifying end user opportunities.

Person:
Engaging, professional, pro-active, results orientated, driven sales entrepreneur. The ideal sales professional will have an IT security background, enterprise software would also be considered and a good mix of channel and end user sales experience. IT security markets of interest; email security, web security, encryption, network security, data security, mobile and wireless security, Identity Management and Access Control, IPS, DLP, Authentication, antivirus software, back up recovery, archiving, storage, disaster recovery, IM, forensic software. As well as strong public sector including NHS, Police/Blue Light, Learning/Education and local government.
