According to a recent Infonetics report, the Network security appliance and software revenue increased 13% worldwide between 3Q09 and 4Q09, totalling $1.4 billion and virtually all network security vendors posted revenue growth in 4Q09, with the bump up in the market driven by market leaders Cisco (up 18% from 3Q09) and Check Point (up 22%). The research predicts that the network security appliance and software market will grow to $6.4 billion in 2014.

Role:
As Major Account Manager your role is to develop business through a number of existing named accounts across Financial services. Going higher and wider into your accounts and ensuring all lines of business are secured, in a qualified environment where you can leverage the existing relationship in place. 100% channel delivery model, working in a direct touch sales capacity owning the relationship with the end user and working with channel to fulfil across SI and VARs. You will be targeting FTSE 250 accounts; Lloyds TSB, HBOS, RBS, ING and AXA.

Person:
Tenacious, professional, talented, strategic and process driven sales over achiever who will compliment the existing team and add value to the current up scale of sales talent. You will be a financial services specialist and have the ability to leverage C-level relationships in Government. Ideally you will have had exposure to a similar network security background: F5, Barracuda Networks, Cisco, Riverbed, Blue Coat, Juniper, Websense or Checkpoint.
