Opportunity:
According to Gartner, as the security industry moves to the third phase in its evolution, security leaders will be building security into each new wave of technology when it enters the business, as well as into each new business process. This new investment for 2010 and 2011 will allow security vendors to grow again at the significant rates they were used to in 2007 and 2008.

Role:
As a channel sales account manager you will develop business within targeted distribution accounts South of Birmingham. You will be actively dealing with resellers and bringing new partners on in line with the companies Channel strategy. The successful candidate will be able to interact at all levels of both the distributors and resellers and not simply sit behind the distributor and push product through.

Person:
you will be a successful security sales person, ideally selling to the channel selling security as part of a wider portfolio. Your role will be the security specialist so an understanding of of spy-wear, content security, network access control, intrusion prevention, email security, web security, managed services would be highly advantageous as well as having worked for one of the top Infosec vendors Clearswift, EST, F5, Sophos, Kaspersky, Juniper, Bluecoat, M86, Becrypt, Vasco, IBM, PGP, Checkpoint, HP, Thales and any other tier 1 vendor
