Opportunity:
According to a report (silicon.com) the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) market is forecast to hit GBP450bn by 2012. The recession has increased the speed at which companies move their processes and IT offshore meaning that 2010 and 2011 will be very prosperous for global BPO providers.

Company:
A name synonymous with outsourcing and managed services they are a market leading service provider for both public and private sector accounts and turnover of more than GBP2 billion. This award winning BPO / ITO service provider are looking to build on their success in 2010 by bringing on a senior level sales person to increase their significant market share.

Role:
This is a new business direct sales role selling outsourcing and managed services at C level within commercial markets (everything excluding finance and public sector). You will be targeting retail, telecoms, pharmaceuticals, automotive, legal, professional services, travel and transport, manufacturing and hi-tech sectors that have a turnover of more than GBP2bn. Your main objective being to identify and secure large deals (GBP10m to GBP100m plus) for outsourcing and managed services. You first year target will be GBP50m and you will be expected to liaise with divisional support functions, e.g. marketing and finance, to ensure support required within the assigned territory is delivered. You will be working within the hunter team to win new large label accounts.

Person:
Ability to open doors at senior level coupled with the business acumen required to identify new projects. Experienced in closing large new business deals above GBP10m as well as a thorough understanding of how to extract mega deals from commercial accounts at C-level. You will have the ability to win large Managed Service, Systems Integration, Business Process Outsourcing, and Consultancy deals. Successful candidates will have come from a similar IT Services Company and will already have a track record of success in the consultative sales environment. You will have the personal stature and judgment to gain the confidence of clients, suppliers and colleagues at all levels in their respective organisations, coupled with the ability and conviction to influence and persuade. Business acumen, poise and credibility are essential, as are a sound appreciation of business dynamics and economics. You will be a natural new business hunter capable of dealing with multiple levels of contact. You will have closed at least 1 order worth over GBP50m for outsourcing and managed services.
