Opportunity:
The accelerated growth of cloud computing driven by the adoption of Cloud Infrastructure/Platform within the Enterprise space has created increased demand on the Data Centre. Power, temperature, humidity, airflow and air quality all play a vital part in ensuring decontamination of the datacentre environment is maintained to a minimum.

International Market Leader with a customer base that dominates the FTSE 100 and market share 600% greater than its closest rival. Currently in expansion mode they are capitalising on the growth of the datacentre created by fast growing adoption of cloud computing infrastructure within the Enterprise space. This is an expanding business who is upgrading their service offering, growing and developing their existing sales team in addition to making strategic acquisitions to ensure they complete their exit strategy within the next few years.
Role:
You will be joining a well-funded company and play an integral part in a business that is looking to acquire several businesses to expand their portfolio of services and value proposition. The role of the COO is to assist in the identification of suitable target businesses, provide and independent and unbiased overview report of the target companies that includes the value they add to the business and how they will align to the overall planned group structure in terms of solution, positioning. You will need to provide the CEO with the knowledgebase required to make a successful strategic acquisition in line with his vision to build a critical facilities group that covers Datacentre Maintenance, Datacentre Infrastructure, Datacentre Management and Datacentre Consultancy. This role will also involve the creation of new sales models and value propositions that integrate the recent acquisitions into an industry leading solution.
Person:
Extensive knowledge across the follwing four main areas 1) Datacentre Maintenance (integrity testing, air handling systems, cleaning and decontamination, mechanical services - flooring firewalling). 2) Datacentre Infrastructure (power, cabling, fire suppression and extraction, cooling - design and build services, access controls security, modular datacentres). 3) Datacentre Management (performance, monitoring, power management, carbon management - DCIM, outsourcing, out tasking). 4) Datacentre Consultancy (PUE, thermal impact testing, airflow optimisation, free cooling - professional services , energy audits, energy saving projects, cooling audits). With the ability to identify unique elements in targeting companies that will add value to the group structure and value proposition. Write detailed reports that include in-depth research into the compatibility of the solution and how it fits in with the existing product offering. Create new sales models and value propositions aligned to the business goals.
